RORY ROGERS Rory Rogers has over a decade of design, print and web publishing experience that allow him to deliver high-quality graphic design projects on time and within budget. His creativity is unsurpassed when it comes to designing for the fickle eyes of today's youth. In 1994 Rory founded Humble Propaganda, an underground music magazine in Los Angeles. During the first three years Humble Propaganda grew from a readership of 3,000 to over 20,000 readers per month. The result was the leading underground music publication in Southern California. Using relationships and skills developed while publishing Humble Propaganda, Rory continued his efforts in the underground music world by accepting a position with BYO Records. As a publicist for BYO Records, Rory organized tours, press, radio airplay and time on major cable networks for groups such as 7 Seconds, Youth Brigade, Bouncing Souls, Hepcat and Royal Crown Revue, to name a few. In 1997 Rory became an ad designer for 28th Street Magazine, the premier college magazine in Southern California. By 1999 Rory had been promoted to Production Manager and charged with ensuring that all of 28th Street's six growing regional and national college publications, as well as the hundreds of advertisers within them, were on the forefront of layout and design. Rory joined the College Marketing Associates team in 2001. His core competencies include logo design, print design, web design and advertising design. |
